In the reporting year, Idalesprom reforested N ha of leased plots in the Vologda Region. N thousand spruce and pine seedlings were planted, and measures to promote natural regeneration were carried out on a further N ha.
Planting is carried out on cutover areas of previous years under the forest development project. During logging, crews preserve young growth, so part of the area regenerates naturally. In autumn, specialists check the survival of the seedlings and tend the young stands.
